The wait is almost over! Those who were anxious to listen to a new song from Djavan will be very happy this week. On September 29 Não é um bolero will start playing on every radio station in Brazil. The song written by the alagoano is the first to be released from the album called Vidas pra contar, which will be launched in November 2015 by Luanda Records in a partnership with Sony Music.
Monica Bergamo, a journalist from the newspaperA Folha de São Paulo, has published a note about the launch in her column this last Saturday:
"Djavan, 66, is in the studio wrapping up the recording of the 23rd album of his career. The album Vidas pra Contarwill be available at the stores starting an aura of happiness. ‘It’s an upbeat album’, says the alagoano, who is already thinking about his new show.
The first lead song, which will be on the radio next Tuesday (29), is called Não É um Bolero (It’s not a bolero). So what is it, then? ‘It’s genuine love that survives everything’, says the singer".
